Managing Partner

Credentials: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), MBA from INSEAD, Former Director at Mandiri Sekuritas.

Bio: Arief is the driving force behind Indonesia IFC Advisory. With over 20 years of experience in Indonesian capital markets, he brings a wealth of expertise in investment strategy, portfolio management, and corporate finance. Prior to founding the advisory arm of Juara Holding Group, Arief was a Director at Mandiri Sekuritas, where he led numerous landmark IPOs and M&A transactions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). His deep connections within the OJK and Ministry of Finance provide our clients with invaluable insights into the evolving regulatory landscape of the Indonesia International Financial Center. Dewi Lestari, S.H., LL.M.

Head of Legal & Compliance

Credentials: Sarjana Hukum (S.H.) from Universitas Indonesia, LL.M. in International Financial Law from King’s College London, Certified by Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia (PERADI).

Bio: Dewi is one of Indonesia’s leading legal minds in financial services regulation. She spent a decade as a senior associate at Assegaf Hamzah & Partners (AHP), specializing in banking, finance, and foreign direct investment. Her expertise covers the full spectrum of regulatory compliance, from structuring foreign-owned investment vehicles (PMA) through the BKPM’s Online Single Submission (OSS) system to advising on complex OJK and Bank Indonesia regulations. Dewi leads our legal advisory services, ensuring every client structure is not only compliant but also optimized for the unique incentives offered by the new IFC framework.

Budi Santoso, SE, Ak.

Head of Fund Administration & Family Office Services

Credentials: Sarjana Ekonomi (SE) in Accounting from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Certified Public Accountant (Ak.).

Bio: Budi has over 15 years of experience in fund accounting, administration, and operations, having held senior positions at TMF Group and Vistra in Jakarta. He is an expert in the operational mechanics of investment funds, including NAV calculation, investor reporting, and regulatory filings with the OJK. Budi’s team provides the critical back-office support that allows our clients to focus on their investment strategies. He is also our lead advisor for family offices, helping high-net-worth families structure their Indonesian holdings for optimal governance, tax efficiency, and long-term succession.

Dr. Michael Tan

Senior Advisor, International Strategy

Credentials: PhD in Economics from the National University of Singapore, Former Economist at the World Bank (Jakarta Office).

Bio: Dr. Tan provides a macroeconomic and geopolitical lens to our advisory services. His work at the World Bank focused on foreign direct investment flows into Southeast Asia and the development of Special Economic Zones (Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus – KEK). He analyzes policy shifts, including the recent initiatives under President Prabowo, to provide clients with a forward-looking view of Indonesia’s economic trajectory. Rina Kartika

Credentials: BA in International Relations from Universitas Pelita Harapan, Former liaison at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN).

Bio: Rina manages our relationships with key government bodies, industry associations, and international business chambers. Her role is crucial for facilitating high-level dialogues and ensuring our clients’ perspectives are understood within policy-making circles. Drawing on her experience at KADIN, Rina navigates the complex network of stakeholders involved in the IFC’s development, from the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs to international groups like AmCham Indonesia and EuroCham. She ensures our clients have a seamless experience when engaging with the Indonesian bureaucracy.
